Description:
Girl skipping rope, attributed to Automatic Toy Works, exceedingly rare with reportedly only two known examples, clockwork toy depicts a china doll seemingly able to skip rope as toy is wound, center podium done in lithographed tin with graphic images of people in varied poses with clockwork concealed within; appears all original and purchased as found, only the outfit shows age wear and fabric repair, center podium may have contained a finial at one time, a nice addition to a serious Early American collection
